The Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) programme, launched globally in 1964, remains a cornerstone of bilateral capacity building between India and Seychelles. As of 2026, 90 annual ITEC training slots are officially allocated to Seychelles by the Government of India. The typical utilization by Seychelles is an impressive 80 to 90 slots. Recent agreements also stipulate that India will train 250 Seychellois civil servants over three years through the National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG).
